If you’re a microbusiness, or you’re a startup just setting out on your journey, it can be tempting to think that SEO isn’t something you should be concerned about.
Likewise, we’ve encountered several business owners who built a website (or had a website built for them) years ago. Since their website launched, it has been neglected and left in a corner, never to be seen.
Every business has to make an investment in some form of marketing or advertising to be able to grow. There are plenty to choose from – print advertising, radio and TV to name a few, or you can invest your money in pay-per-click (PPC) advertisements on Google or Facebook.
These forms of advertising all have their place in different scenarios. To some extent, they offer immediate gratification. The problem with each of them is that they require you to keep feeding the monster. As soon as you stop dipping into your wallet, your presence on these platforms falls to zero.
With SEO, it’s a little bit different. Of course, there is an investment – either a time investment on your part internally as a business owner, or a financial investment to seek the help from an SEO professional or agency. The difference is that SEO is sustainable. The time or money you invest today will continue to pay you back for months and years to come, through organic traffic returning to your site on a regular basis.
So if you’re a startup – or if you have a website which hasn’t been updated in a while – let us help you.
